    BIO

Originally from Windsor Ontario (the hometown of Bob Probert & Darren McCarty), it’s no surprise that DUPES is a big Detroit Red Wings fan.

He arrived in Osaka in 1990 with a backpack and a plan to stay in Japan for 6-months.

His journey has since taken him around the world, now on his fourth time living in Japan (25 years & counting) after stints in Singapore & India.

He is the ex-CEO of Randstad India & Japan, author of the best-selling book, “The E5 Movement”, where he shares stories & learnings from on and off the ice.

Paul graduated from the corporate world launching his consulting company in 2024, Take-5 Global.

DUPES travels to the Himalayas of northern India every January to volunteer, donate equipment & coach hockey up on the frozen lakes at 3800m. Several members of the TCHC have supported the effort over the years, and Slava Fetisov (Stanley Cup champion, The Russian Five) joined the trip in 2020.
