    Christopher is of Japanese and American descent born in San Francisco. Shortly after being born, he lived for five years in Japan then moved to Boston for the following 12 Years. Chris became enamored by the sport of hockey during his first year in Boston when he attended a local high school game.

    Christopher spent one season in second grade playing hockey with the recreational team, Starhawks, before committing to skiing with the family for the majority of his time in New England. Christopher played three more recreational seasons with the Starhawks in high school, after being motivated to lace the skates again, during the Boston Bruins Stanley Cup run in 2011.

    Christopher came to Japan in the summer of 2014 to enroll in Sophia University. There he immediately joined their hockey team and went to summer training camp before even going to the university’s Orientation Day. Christopher has been playing hockey year round ever since.

    Christopher has remained an active part of the Sophia Ice Hockey Alumni and is known to frequent Jingu on a weekly basis.

    Christopher first played against the Tokyo Canadians during a practice game with Marubeni. He became more acquainted with the team after an invitation to the final Roppongi Midtown outdoor skate in February 2023, organized by TCHC alum Paul Dupuis. Shortly afterwards, Christopher participated in the Tokyo Canadians’ Nagano Cup 2023 and then became a frequent visitor to the TCHC Red vs White games.

    Christopher loves to socialize on and off the ice. He is currently working as a Digital Marketer and SEO at Village House Management, under Fortress Investment Group.
