Helping out in Ishinomaki

We're looking at having about 10 TCHC members or friends of the club to help. 

1.  Transportation

A) There will be space on the bus for volunteers - 

Leaves 11 pm from Shinjuku on the Friday night  arrives in the AM early

B)  There are Shinkansen leaving for Sendai every 20 minutes.  From there 2 ways to get to Ishinomaki 

    i) bus  -  every 40 mins/ hour

    ii) rentacar -need to reserve in advance to be safe.

C)  Drive 

2.  Accomodation
a)  We have space for volunteers to sleep.  No showers, but running water. Need to bring a sleeping bag. (free)

b)  There are hotels, ryokans etc., but need to book early (5-15,000/night)

c)  There are cheap hostels that may be available for 2-3,000 yen/night

The standard Nadia volunteer package is A) and costs 10,000 yen 

Shinkansen costs 10,800 one way (15,000 green), bus to Ishinomaki is under 1,000 yen.

Rent-a-car for the weekend is about 17,000 yen.

Stanley Cup Game 2 - LIVE

Devils - Game #2 streamed LIVE on the huge screen....and a great brunch buffet for y2,500. Food served from 8:30am til the start of the 3rd period. Faceoff is 9am Tokyo time.

2nd Annual Summer Hockey Camp

TCHC hosted a small tournament/camp at Okaya, Nagano last summer. It was a good small "summer hockey camp" with 3 exhibition games and the Final Game, and it is also a good little family trip.

This year, we are planning to hold another summer hockey camp on 6/30 (Sat) & 7/1 (Sun).

The daily schedule would be almost same as the last year (3 exhibition games, 1 final game, and BBQ at night).
